A project on what they call a "THIRD GENDER"
While Western civilizations have only lately explored genders other than male and female, the Hijra community in India, has been known in history for almost 4,000 years and is described in ancient literature, as a testament to the importance of sexual variety in Indian culture, which is widely ignored nowadays.
People who identify as transgender are still fighting for their rights in our society as a result of society's refusal to recognize their gender identities. As a result, prejudice, social injustice, and physical assault continue to plague them.
